How can I print slides from my computer?

I want to be able to print slides from my computer via some sort of image capture hardware device. Do you know of any such device I could use to do this?

Yes, there's a number of possibilities. You could buy a dedicated slide scanner, or an ordinary flatbed scanner that has a transparency adapter that's either built in or available as an option.

There is a big difference, however, in price and quality across the various products available, so before you buy you do need to consider how frequently you want to use it, what quality you require and whether a document scanning capability would be a useful addition.

The slide scanning process is pretty much the same as the procedure for scanning a paper document - you simply acquire the image using a photo-editor, such as Adobe Photoshop, from which you can print it.
